Story
Honoured, as a direct result and positive reaction to the screening of 'MEMPHIS & THE BITTER END', my friend's brother Roland Hackl of the group AROMABAR hired me to do a video clip for him, for a song called 'Little Brother'. I was able to include some thrilling footage of a burning car in the neighbourhood in the clip.
I was just leaving my building in Vienna when I saw this car approaching. The engine was turned off and it was just rolling down the road, and then it started smoking. The driver quickly hopped out, letting the vehicle continue slowly down the road. I instantly ran up to get my Super-8 camera. When I came down, the car had already caught fire. Flames! What a spectacle. The fire fighters arrived and extinguished the flames. It was all beautifully backlit, too. In the end the clip made it to number 9 in the Euro-Charts on MTV and Viva 2.
Starring the members of Aromabar: Roland Hackl, Karin Steger, Andi Kinzl. Special cameo appearance by our friend Wolfgang 'Jack' Tschegg, at one of his concerts, with his guitar.
